Summer of Discontent

Talking of the WikiLeaks of this world and I think we will never know the kind of service the whistle blowers of this world render towards popular opinion.  They are today, probably a role model for the hacker community around the world, which finds itself caught between its noble ideals and the urge to just desolate.  I think, the hacker communities desire to to stick to its noble ideals lies in its ability to generate just causes for itself .  We aren't in the business of creating mayhem, we just want open access to information and free flow of thoughts.  Exchange of ideas is what we yearn for, and fairness in formation of opinions.  We don't need thoughts in our head that pull us down from our noble ideals and it is this ability to generate synergies with people with similar mindsets that has set us apart from other communities.

Speaking of communities, the business of creating an organism called a company is never easy, people with you have different demands of it, and it takes a fairly spirited as well as a creative and ingenious mind to find the cause for a commercial organism to exist.  One such way to find it is to build on opinions - stakeholders, investors, employees but the most important people are the clients.  The organism exists because of a symbiotic relationship with them.  So what is a client, is it the fruit of labour that we all wait for ?  Nay, clients are partners for life, people who will stand by with their testimonials.  This is where the whistle blowers come in, to find out with whom and what we started off with and where we ended at.  Common occurrence no 1 : We are a organisation with a social and moral responsibility and two years down the road : We are an organisation of immoral and nefarious activities.

Give me a break buddies, I will spend as much time as I need in trying to figure a course for my organisation.  We are a community now and I am sure I will be able to build in the necessary safeguards to develop a community of like minded individuals who will not lose the idealism, we intend to share experiences before we step into breaking the mould.
Where there is a will the cause will not be far behind
