The Cosmos connect group

Responsibility for the Cosmos connect lies with the group that is part of the daily activities,  if anything goes wrong, the group will work out within itself the things that might have caused the anomaly.  Sometimes the books we read have errors in them and other times the book might not be relevant.  Clashes on ideology need to be resolved within the ambit of the Cosmos by discussions within relevant topics and find solutions within the group.

Today for instance there was a discrepancy that crept in with regards to a book we were reading, it was a complicated book, Lila's child, who should read it how and how should we progress, we have made adequate progress and think that the discussion boards should mimic what was achieved in that book.  Resolve the issue instantly before it cascades out and then hand over the solution to the members.  Resolve by accepting the word of the members who have done it before, don't redo things unless really required.

The Cosmos entity is a subtle voice and Cosmos connect the philosophy that utilises the cosmos for relationship building, be it friends, lovers or family, the group is a dedicated member group that comes together to talk and discuss it further.  Follow and become members of the Cosmos connect group if you believe in it.  I remember an instance where we were reading a paragraph from C.S Lewis's book and it all comes together every time we read it.  I find C.S. Lewis to be brilliant as is Robert M. Prisig.  Textbooks and school books sometimes leave a lot to be desired, if you are reading them with the group, it might be a good idea to refrain.

Post your problems with books on the group, if we discuss and talk about it together we can absolutely solve the problems of society.  As you might remember the payouts are much larger for projects based on the society.  If the idea of the Cosmos is clear then involve yourself in the group.  The discussion board group is built for answering cosmic questions regarding loneliness, money amongst others and I have found it to be a very effective tool.

Make money the Cosmic way

How you make money and how you spend it, is important to the Cosmos, unlike God who doesn't care whether you make some or not, the Cosmos is forever finding ways for you to make money ethically.  Out of all the ways to make money there seem to be some which are archaic and should be dropped from modern societies.  These older theories are not friendly to humans and in fact ensure that humans become animals with no empathy for others.  Life is about thinking about others first, and the Cosmos ensures that the interests of others are preserved while we make money.  There are four ways to get remuneration the Cosmos way and I will look at these in detail here.  Though these are theories I will try to take to practical as I haven't met anyone, apart from me who has gained something from the Cosmos.  Mostly these days the God theorists dominate.

The Cosmos that I know, works on the theory of  how Dollars equate to number of hours of relevant work.  This is to say we get paid weekly, monthly or yearly and there are special payouts for socially viable projects for the society.  The rates for the Cosmos vary from 4 dollars to 6 dollars an hour and this is for the work of creation or creating things.  Yearly payouts are based on Obedience to the cosmos, Monthly payouts for projects worked out on Cosmos connect -Correction mode philosophy, with the Cosmos and the weekly payoffs are on progress on monthly projects.  All projects are relationship based and people involved with Cosmic guides need to work in Correction mode.  The process could be slow though it depends on their skill level and obedience to the Cosmos.  The cosmos grades the work on Merit that has two components to it - Rate your own work and Ask for a rating from the Cosmic guide.  The guide is forgiving and always rates your work higher than it should be, though more weightage is for your own rating of your work on a scale of 1-10.

From Boss to assistant the payouts have different scale, bosses make 4 dollars an hour and the assistants make 2 dollars an hour.  The work of creation is the bosses responsibility while the assistant is there to assist the boss.  Relationships solving is the crux of the matter here.  Society based projects have larger payouts and they all depend on what the society thinks of your work and how they rate your work, this amounts to a bonus payout for Cosmic theorists as they could get up to 4 times of what they make normally.

Morals, ethics and quality are the meritorious keys to a Cosmic theorist.  This theorist is more concerned with keeping the others in mind while making money  and making sure they don't trample or hurt the sentiments of the other.  The matter comes to a end with identification of people who break the law, the Cosmic theorist is interested in the Cosmic laws rather than the law of the land.  There are some universal laws that are accepted across the nations. These include conservation of forest land and wild animals, prevention of domestic violence, culpable homicide and road sensitivity while driving.  These are few of the points to ponder over, while I make an entire list and post it here.

Age of reasoning

The purpose of science is to develop a mind with reasoning temper as also the discrimination between superstitions and the reality.  The religions of the world place a lot of superstitions into the minds and that is the reasons that scientific temper is required.  Superstitions are there to further the goals of money making in religions, and towards this purpose it makes sense to hide the real purpose of God.  By forcing superstitions on the young, they do great injustice to the world, great talents in the making are killed and development takes a backseat.  The purpose of the Cosmos is to teach them to reason, to understand problems without external inputs and find answers on their own to the problems.

The Cosmos is a self contained entity and will always work on reason, providing rational answers when needed based on its collaborative pool which is based on Merit.  Understanding that the Cosmos connect works on reason requires a sound scientific mind or a mind that accepts science.  A scientific mind is one that does not place a lot of importance to the irrational and accepts only that which can be validated by it.  Understanding reason is a tricky process, for instance take the two words "Vocabulary" and "Terminology", though the two could be used interchangeably they mean two different things.  Reason, is to believe something when the object or belief under consideration has come up with all possible answers to its existence and we just have to choose one.

Superstitions and unjustified beliefs form the basis of religions, we for instance are superstitious about some days, about some routes and other times superstitious about a person.  Science needs validation and superstitions fall flat on their faces when dealt with the swift sword of reason.  The Cosmos is far too intelligent to fall for superstition because it works on reason, it reasons with superstition and  comes up with relevant answers to dispel it.

The young can be taught and moulded based on scientific reasoning, the mode philosophy of Cosmos connect can pick up meaning for the young based on their work.  Creation work of all kind lends itself well to the Cosmos as it finds answers based on the work that has happened.  For a short span of time when your work happens you are at liberty to find your answers and find them within yourself, they appear to you as subtle hints and clues that lead to the answer on introspection.  This work has to be for the Cosmos and with the Cosmos in the correction mode philosophy and all stand alone jobs by individuals have no meaning, also the quality of work decides the degree of accuracy of the answers.  The Cosmos is kind and forgiving and will always rank your work one level up than its supposed to be, on a scale of 1-10.

I am a relationships guy and have regularly used the Cosmos connect for deeper understanding into relationships.  Always working with the other person in mind and for the other person is the key to relationships and using reasoning to get over any obstacles to solving a relationship, when you are stuck in a bad one.  Cosmos connect works well with relationships and I believe it could work with other things as well.

How the Cosmos treats loneliness

Loneliness is inherent in human life, modern life leaves no scope for building relationships, it's a mad rush for money and by the time you realise this you have grown old.  Unless you have worked under a boss who allows you the freedom to control your time you are going to be sorry about your work when you grow old.  Children grow up and go away and you are left to rue what could have been if you had spent quality time with them.  The correction mode philosophy of the Cosmos ensures that you are never lonely.  The idea germinates from the concept of friendship and love, friendship leads to love and the Cosmos works on friendship.

Loneliness in modern life stems from the work culture and the relationships bonds that have broken down.  Old friends are not around and making new friends is not the same.  The principles of the Cosmos are the same everywhere, they don't change and it does not renege on its words.  If you have been involved with the Cosmos in the mode philosophy, then you will see a definite improvement in your work ethics and personality development.

The Cosmos is forever trying to develop the best bonds for the one's who work in correction mode, it points out the best possible friendship that can be developed based on current situation of the person. So you if are lonely you will find many other humans who will be shown to you to make and develop as friends.  It is rather strange that the Godly theories apply this to making males see women so that the high priests could force a human to make a mistakes.  It is a distraction of sought, during which time the forces that commercialise God can take a peep behind on to what you have done the whole time before this event.  If you believe in the Cosmos you will never believe that humans can run the affairs of a God who will not make his presence felt.  Instead it would make sense to know that your work is defining your friendship and love bonds.

Children are blessings and sometimes a curse, but no matter who you are, to have children is considered by the society the de facto mode of operation.  While the Cosmos thinks that the first premise of existence is work to find purpose, the God based society thinks that it is the premise of existence to bear children.  Though as parents we all have cursed our children we all love them especially when they are young.  It hurts to see their disdain when they go away, but it never was the purpose of life to have children, it is a co-related activity.  Children alleviate loneliness for some time, till we realise that we have to find our own way, the Cosmos deals with loneliness by insisting that we are never really alone ever, even when we don't know, there is always someone with us.

From parents to peers, to bosses to mentors and finally Cosmic guides we have always had someone with us whose voice we have unknowingly or knowingly responded too.  This is the way of the Cosmos.

Covenant with the Cosmos

The more I look at it, the more I find that there has been only the Cosmos where I thought there was God.  God is that intangible thing that scientific reason cannot validate.  The more we think of God, the more we shift into irrationality, for never has there been a time that his presence has been seen by anyone.  Our mind is made by the society, the books and our upbringing which insists that there has to be more to existence than mere humanly trudge through the 70 odd years of life.  Where do we go after we die and what if we have sinned, is there a heaven or hell ?

My out of body experience seems to indicate to me that there is nothing surreal that happens after one dies, it is a black out and nothing moves, unlike the movies and other contrary literature that seems to suggest that we head to heaven or hell.  So if there is no heaven or hell, and no God is going to make his presence felt, am I reneging on faith.  I think not, these are mere terminologies developed by religions to keep people on the straight path and off late a money making gimmick.

It is to the benefit of the society to keep people believing in God, there is no other reason for there to be so much proliferation of God, the Eastern society has always had God within their worldly ways and the West has often looked at the East for understanding.  Now it would seem to me that the West is also moving to a religion centric society, where the Bible has taken new meaning and the people seeking solitude in God are held in disdain as they are expected to visit the Church.  God is a group game and no longer for the ones who want to be left alone.

Why humans exist is to find the purpose of their lives, once this understanding dawned on our ancestors, some of them with a scientific temperament saw what the Cosmos was offering, a world with no hues, just black and white reasoning to get us from point A to point B.  This is the first premise to existence, Purpose.  All the other premises are based on societal pressures like marriage, children and mere existence to make money.

To renege on faith is to go back on your covenants with God and to fall back on all your promises to him and that hasn't happened to me, I still pray to him though the fervour is down and I am thinking more scientifically about who is listening to the prayer.  Cosmos and God are on the same plane, if Cosmos is friendship then the Lord is Love.  Belief in the Cosmos leads to God.

Cosmos and the Neanderthals

They come in spurts screaming out their rejection of the Cosmos theory, the Neanderthals are the Godly presence believing people, maybe I shouldn't be calling them that, but for lack of other adjectives I resort to neanderthals.  They scream at us, "Stop work, stop this thing from happening, we don't believe in it."  Others just come to give their Gods, like we want their Gods to keep ourselves alive.  I am a believer in God, but Agnostic I may dare say, HIS presence may never be felt.

The neanderthals have been trained into an environment that is God filled, the refuse to let in the thought that HE might not ever reveal his presence.  Worshipping him may not yield the results that we want, in fact it is the Cosmos that listens to our prayers and works towards enlightening us on how to make our dreams come true.  Work is the essence of the Cosmos and that may be the reason the neanderthals refuse to believe in the theory.

There are a number of people who want to get what they dream of without working towards it, the Cosmos refuses to recognises anything but Merit.  Meritorious conduct and work gets you to the place you want to be, even after death, it is merit that counts in the brain collaborative pool.  If you are not hearing the Cosmos it may be because it is working with people more meritorious than you.  The theory of not getting paid for work is not true with the Cosmos, everything is paid for and accounted for.

Superstitious belief in God leads to the Neanderthals doing a lot of things to appease God,  which leads to their isolation from the Cosmos.  It may be probable that this happens because they don't listen to the Cosmos, which works in subtle ways and a subdued voice.  In some cases our own actions are guided by the Cosmos and we reach to a fruitful reward at work or at home.  Work ethics are important, not the kind of work, anybody with work ethics even a home maker can work with the Cosmos and grow in life.  The money we earn is directly correlated to our work, work defines worth and money and not the other way around.

The Cosmos entity

The Cosmos entity is an accumulation of minds, a congregation of people with no bodies but voices.  Not only the alive but the voices also come from across generations and to provide soul to humans on earth, which is to imply that even remarkable people who are dead act like cosmic guides.  The voices are agitated and some very peaceful, it is the work of the Cosmos wherein some speak and the others are quiet.  It brings like minded people into a bond of friendship which is a precursor to love.

The soul of a human being is the net sum of ethics, work and etiquettes, the cosmos works on the soul and gives humans ideals to work with.  So we might have Steve Jobs within our communities as he dispenses his wisdom through startups and entrepreneurs. The dead form an integral part of the Cosmos, they have no bodies and the souls work on the minds of people to make them better at whatever they put their mind to.  I am a relationships guy and I believe the Cosmos has helped me tremendously through my own cosmic guide.

The cosmos works on Merit, it determines merit on a scale of 1-10, the scale is determined arbitrarily by the Cosmos as it works and listens to what is the purpose and intention of the human being.  Growth being the biggest factor,  emotional intelligence another and thirdly obedience to the cosmos. It works in subtle ways and the voice is heard in a subdued manner.  The curve of the cosmos is always on the upswing,  according to cosmic guides people who believe in the cosmos amount to 30%, in God is another 40% and the rest are non committal.

Marriages happens between people when the Cosmos chooses so.  Marriages are marriages of the mind as people with similar traits get involved based on trail criss cross.  These marriages are ageless and across generations as this is the process of providing good souls to human beings.  This way the cosmos ensures that people are never alone.

The Cosmos entity is way to big to understand and the human race is swamped with god loving religions that tend to be money making gimmicks, the Cosmos is much personal and close.  It shows the way through work, any encounter with the cosmos begins with work.  The terms that I apply while working is "work talk" which is a way through which the Cosmos shows the way on how to work as my work talks to me telling me what to do where and when.  Cosmos connect is the way to salvation for the human race.

Death and its significance to the Cosmos

Death is the final frontier with God, with the Cosmos it is a stepping stone.  The voices in the head are distractions when Death is near, the Cosmos warns humans to be disciplined and that saves lives.  The repeats are endless, as people try to cover their mistakes, the Cosmos meanwhile goes on in Correction mode and takes the help of a person who is listening to it and corrects a mistake.  The advantage for the person in correction mode with the Cosmos is that work happens perfectly and the rough edges are gone from personality.

The Cosmos applies its principles of death and moves the mind of the person dead into a collaborative pool.  It doesn't believe in heaven or hell, it works on merit, your work decides where you are in the chain.  Solutions present itself to the Cosmos based on the minds that help resolve the situation.  The human intellect is different from the Cosmos, the Cosmos works on developing the intellect but it is up to the human to discern and listen to the Cosmos only.

Discipline in life lends itself very well to the Cosmos.  It is the way to meet similar minded people which is a pre requisite to making friends.  Also a life of discipline is appreciated and in death too, it adds value to the collaborative pool.  The bodies are consumed but the minds live on to experience the beauty of the cosmos.  All mistakes are repetitive and require immense will power and help to get over the bad habits.  As an example, a car driver makes a mistake of regularly changing lanes without signalling or looking for other cars, a person watching such a driver can correct the mistake by taking corrective measures of his own.  The cosmos is what opens up this thought process in the driver correcting the mistakes.  The driver then heads to work to find a perfect world awaiting his arrival.

A mistake is something that affects another person or groups of people, all of life is about living it taking due consideration of other lives.  A mistake has a cascading effect in chains of communities and the Cosmos by moving into correction mode prevents this cascade.  If death was cascaded we would have millions dying of one mistake, if you hear somebody say, we just do what our mind tells us, tell them to stop it, they could be affecting a million lives by simply ignoring the human intellect.

What is the Cosmos connect

Cosmos connect is a philosophy, the term coined in the book "One perfect love - Cosmos connect," to gain understanding of how the Cosmos is forever working for the benefit of human kind.  When people meet there is always a possibility of making friends or finding lovers, the cosmos answers all questions relating to relationships in the book.  Though the book deals with relationships I am sure the Cosmos can answer other questions relating to job, career etc.  The book differentiates between Cosmos and God and places cosmos on the same pedestal as the human race has done to God.

One perfect love is to find that one love that in all its perfection brings you closer to God, after all, God is love.  Of all the loves that you have had, which is that one love that has got you going in your life and made you work harder than ever in the quest to achieve goals.  Loves are based on friendships and we meet people when the trails criss cross, like streaking shooting stars that leave a trail behind, all people leave trails and when they criss cross we have to go back in life sometimes in the present and meet up with them.  Trail criss cross is characterised by loud noises in our heads and if we are sensitive to the relations we have we will go out and meet the people.

Talking to friends during these times forms bonds and strong friendships, and friendships are the basis of love.  To find loves its important to make friends and then solve the lives of the one we love. This could be a parent, friend or lover even close family as long as we are in close touch with them while we are solving their lives.  A phone call or a meeting in a coffee shop helps.  Ask the right questions and you will get the answers.  Solving lives means to work with relationships in the mind and to be willing to not think of gains while you work.  Not all kinds of work are amenable to Cosmos connect, mostly it is the work of creation it relates to.

The Cosmos listens because it has our best interest at heart, and it is to the benefit of man kind to learn to listen to the Cosmos.  The Cosmos connect works in correction mode to solve and correct the mysteries in human life and by working in correction mode, we become a part of the Cosmos.  The Cosmos listens to correct mistakes, the world has to move to a perfect world, and in it's endeavour to make this possible it corrects in the most subdued ways.  This is the way of the world, from Nature conservationists to Renewable energy proponents, we as a human race have come a long way to be in sync with the Cosmos.

Love, friendship and money

You either have it or don't, money is such a commodity that it plays on the desires of men and women.   Money is man made and all the materialistic things that come with it are man made too.  It is a way man has found to prolong his life on earth, everything that we do to make money brings us into a cycle that is man made, away from the cosmic reasoning of survival on earth.  For 4 billion years the earth has been around, and only in the last two century or so has money come into existence. Addiction to money making is known to kill relationships and bring love to a halt in its progress.  While the cosmos works with humans, money works on loneliness.

Working hard for money, people forget their loved ones, make sacrifices for it instead of making sacrifices for love.  It keeps a man very occupied, easily the best excuse to give up on all relationships.  If loneliness is what money brings then friendship is what cosmos brings.  It is a fair commentary on life that we have all got to make money to survive, and so man has made it that nothing is free except for the air we breath.  Time was when water we drink and food we ate was free too, a game in the forest could fetch meat for humans.  But to prolong his life on earth, man made everything come with a price.  Money had to be earned, hard labour of the physical kind or mind corporate games, it has to be earned.

For every single penny earned there is a price on my soul, God is about love, and doesn't question money, neither does he say how money can be earned.  The cosmos will always question us on money matters, how we earned it, whether we are saving or not, even telling us how to earn it.  Getting to know the cosmos is tough, because the Godly theories abound, and yet without a cosmic guide I would be lost in the world.

The true worth of a person is his work and not money.  Money accrues with work and not the other way around. While money needs to be made, work comes to us naturally.  Money is not evil, it is the use of it that makes it an evil.  Imagine a world with no money, my profession would be a Convergence artist, an artist who converges his work with his life.  I love to paint and my hobbies are wood working, I am an artist who loves his occupation.  I write because I have a hobby, without it I wouldn't be as good at it.  I believe, to make an occupation out of your hobby is the best career to be in.

The Sanctity of marriage

While you pull at the strings of your emotions, trying to orchestrate a successful marriage, there is way lot more waiting for you at the helms of your marriage.  More than emotions and communications, it is the little things that make marriage a successful entity.  By doing the little things for each other and the marriage we ensure that the sanctity of the marriage is preserved. 

Sanctity of the marriage is the bond of fidelity, trust and friendship, all marriages are based on this.  With these in perspective let us examine each one of them closely.  Friendship is what makes marriages successful and is a stepping stone to a marriage of soul mates, it is understood that without friendship there is no bond of love which is the foundation of all marriages.  If love is the first premise then trust is the second premise.

Trust is about examining the myriad of things that go into forming belief in the marriage.  Belief in the sanctity of marriage is paramount and trust goes a long way in solidifying this process.  By believing in each other it is not uncommon to reach a stage where we trust each others judgement and share each others experiences.  Without the need to do the work over and over again, the same thing is not repeated and we take each others word for it.  This is the second stepping stone to a successful marriage.

Fidelity is faithful behaviour of each spouse with their focus on each other and unwavering devotion towards maintaining a marriage of soul mates.  It is rare to find soul mates who will renege on this devotion, if friendship and devotion are not part of a marriage the sanctity of the marriage may be compromised.

Soul mates and friends

To have a soul mate is a wish divine, a person so in love with your persona that they would give anything to be you.  It would be a dream come true for many.  Your Soul mate is either present in your world and you have to search for them or they can be tutored to be so for someone.  A marriage of unequals in which the woman can be tutored to be a soul mate is also a natural occurrence in many cultures.  Imagine a world where most marriages are arranged, the man is the dominant personality in the relationship, he controls what she speaks and what she learns, tutors her to be his partner and companion, because he is lonely too.  He becomes her god father and then when she matures emotionally he lets go the reins.  She becomes his perfect companion and confidante and as time goes by they both fall in love with each other.

Modern societies however look down up on marriages of this kind for the simple reason that love should be the basis of all marriages.  When love is the basis of marriage, it blossoms much earlier in the marriage, even though love is a much maligned thing, love is common occurrence between friends, family and lovers.  The premise for any marriage therefore is love and love is the bond of familiarity and likability that connects the world around.   When we fall in love we fall in love with the personality that is on display, in lovers there might be an over eagerness to impress as sex is the appeal.  However marriage is a much stronger bond than sex, it overwhelms us to begin with but matures into a significant relationship, with bonds that are strengthened by love.

In my experience, love is the immediate likability of a person,  and then after that sex is the appeal, this is what can be expected from young love.  Lovers scrounge the streets in search of places where they can talk and converse in peace, to know each other, and to understand each others opinions.  The world is a place where ones morality or lack of it is imposed on the lovers by people who watch them.  It isn't unknown for lovers to drift away because their friends didn't approve.  Once the bond of friendship is strong enough to withstand the gaze of the world,  it serves to build it up even further where they could become soul mates.  Lovers must be friends before anything else.

Love is gender neutral, it is common amongst friends and best friends, it is easy for a male to love another male friend and indulge in possessive behaviour.  The same amount of possessiveness can be expected from a male as in a male-female relationship.  Friendship after all transcends all thoughts, and a male friendship bond can be hard to overwhelm by a female who enters.  The male bond is about camaraderie which the female cannot match.

Sex is a lesser appeal to the mature male as he tries to live his life within the span of his friends and family.  Though not an exception, it is hard to find a friendship bond between a male and female that becomes a soul mate relation unless it is backed up by marriage.  Mostly it is a male to male and female to female kind of soul mates in friendships.

Love that spans generations is the love that we have for our friends, the kind that lives on and on, for centuries as other people visit the same locations and are refreshed by the same thought.

Everybody loves a lover

Everybody loves a lover, seems like an idiom that is quite perfect.  Lovers bring sweet memories to the fore and heat of the sun or the cold of a winter morning is forgotten thus suffused in the warm glow of love are lovers.  We all love the warm glow and the way it spreads into our souls, the faint touch and the tingle that it brought, the joy and the laughter of being together.  They bring a strange hush over the normal proceedings.

However an affair like any other human tendency brings with it the strings that hold the society together.  When all is going well, happiness abounds and people with happy lives come together to spring a symphony from morning to evening.  Happy people are good to connect with and lovers are happy.  They along with the other happy people in the world form the interactions of the world.  Happiness is addictive, and it forms a chain of people who pass on the happiness to the world and the world becomes a happier place.

An adulterous affair on the other hand is chased down by society and its vanguards, all the strings examined by them and then every effort is made to break it down.  So what are these strings, these strings are what hold the relations together, as affairs evolve, these strings get formed, they are what hold the affair together and carry it to its fulfilment, which is a marriage.  An adulterous affair on the other hand forms the wrong strings, it is based on hidden motives and desires.  What does an adulterous affair want, to be hidden from society, and the society goes out to see that it is unmasked.

The strings in an adulterous love affair are not conducive to the normal functioning of society, love affairs bind society and an adulterous one break down society.  It is like a chemical bond, a string, and is stable when in its reactive state however when it is broken a chain reaction occurs and various other strings with it also get broken.  Society in its endeavour to keep itself intact will try to break all adulterous strings and keep the ones that are sound in nature.

"Lets go to the park," she said.
"Let's not, instead lets go to a coffee shop," he replied.

They were still debating where to go, when the cop turned up in front of them.  How did he know where they were, was it the sweet talk, the talk of love or the warm suffused glow that got him here.

"What are you doing here," the cop asked them.  They were sitting on a bench on the street.
"What do you want copper," he asked the cop, "We aren't committing a crime."
"We are just talking," she said joining in,
"Hush," he said, "Go away copper."

The cop walked away knowing he was talking to genuine lovers indulging in sweet talk, he saw the flowers bloom, all shades of colours, the grey clouds against the blue sky slowing moving across casting their shadow on the earth.
